Ryan Mather, Psy.D.
I believe psychotherapy is an opportunity to make changes related to a number of life’s troubles, and I will support you in finding personally meaningful change.
My Approach
I strive to take a relational and collaborative approach in my therapeutic style. My clinical and conceptual approaches are grounded in psychoanalytic, existential, and attachment theories.
I believe openness and acceptance are central to growth, and I want you to feel comfortable discussing whatever may feel important to you—no topic is off limits. I will support you in co-creating an environment of trust and safety where we can explore and ask questions, moving toward lasting change.
If you are experiencing distress or dissatisfaction, or a sense of things not being as they should be, I believe I can help you. I look forward to empathically accompanying you in discovering greater meaning and improved life satisfaction.
I currently provide individual psychotherapy for adults and adolescents.
